Collectors and car enthusiasts in McKinney will soon have a dedicated space to store their prized vehicles and connect with fellow motor buffs. Reservations are now being accepted to purchase or lease storage condos at the southwest corner of Virginia Parkway and Hardin Boulevard in McKinney. Jim Riggs has initiated Elite Garages McKinney and plans to build five buildings of garage condos. Riggs is known for turning his entrepreneurial vision into reality by pioneering the development of office and flex condo projects throughout the southwest. He has over 36 years of experience as a developer and has been recognized as a three-time Arizona NAIOP “Developer of the Year” with over 75 successful projects completed.

Elite Garages McKinney will feature 64 individual garages, totaling approximately 88,000 square feet in a private, gated setting. Unit sizes range from approximately 1,300 to 1,900 square feet, with most around 1,400 square feet, with electric access doors measuring 18 feet in height.

To enhance the private club atmosphere, Elite Garages will an area with amenities such as a kitchen, full bathrooms with showers, event space and meeting room. The clubhouse will be used for social events such as “cars and coffee” as well as an impromptu gathering spot for members who want to socialize. The facility is designed to be secure, social, and convenient, providing storage solutions for a variety of "toys" including RVs, trucks, motorcycles, boats, and jet skis.
